Toledo Zoo Fisher Price Weekend

The Toledo Zoo had a Fisher Price weekend this past weekend and we went to check the new toys out (as well as see the animals). They had a tent with all kind sof new FP toys that the kids could play with and try out. Syd had fun playing with the people oriented activities. They also had a test-drive track with all their new FP Power Wheels vehicles. While we were waiting I asked Syd which one she was going to try out. She kept pointing at the Escalade and saying she wanted to drive that one. But there was this really cool new four wheeler that Zack and I were trying to convince her to test. When it came time to actually make the decision she chose the Jeep below, which seemed silly to Zack and me since she has a Jeep at home that she can drive any time. She seemed to have a good time driving it around. Diego and the new Planet Heroes were supposedly walking around the zoo too, but we didn't run into any of them. It was over 90 degrees out, so we wondered if they wimped out.



The zoo also had a mini-dog show going on. We got to watch a Border Collie race against a child in the dog obstacle course. Then they brought out some of their petting zoo animals to introduce them to the children in the audience. Below you see Zack and Syd with a pot bellied pig.
